UsageV-by-One HS
In V-by-One® HS, AC coupling (capacitive coupling) is used for the transmission from the transmitter (Tx) to the receiver (Rx) through capacitance.
The standard recom金年会jinnianhuindation is that the capacitor for AC coupling be placed just next to the Tx device’s CML output pin, but placing it just next to the Rx device’s CML input pin is allowed as well.
Performing capacitive coupling on both Tx and Rx prevents the DC between Tx and Rx from being 金年会jinnianhuipagated to CML terminals on both sides.
By using this feature, the signals which are sufficiently slower than V-by-One®HS signal, e.g. LOCKN, HTPDN and the power 金年会jinnianhuily, can be transmitted through the V-by-One®HS signal line.
However, as the load on the V-by-One®HS signal line beco金年会jinnianhuis larger with this 金年会jinnianhuithod, the waveform of V-by-One® HS signal will be affected.
If you consider adopting this method, evaluate it 金年会jinnianhuifficiently in advance under your usage environment before using it.
