Sanyo Chemical has now published the “Sanyo Chemical Group Sustainability Report 2024,” (English version).

This report describes our approach to contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through our business, as well as the content and data of our ESG-related initiatives as an annual report.

The Sanyo Chemical Group will continue to strengthen communication with stakeholders and proactively disclose information.

Published “Sanyo Chemical Group Integrated Report 2024” (English version)

Sanyo Chemical has published the Sanyo Chemical Group Integrated Report 2024 (English version).

The cover depicts the company’s efforts to overcome the boundaries of divisions and chemistry, and to join hands with colleagues to take on the challenges of the new world.

Sanyo Chemical publishes an integrated report that summarizes financial and non-financial information with the aim of communicating its management strategies, business activities, and other initiatives aimed at Sanyo Chemical’s sustainable growth to all stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner.

The 2024 edition consists of three sections: “Vision Story,” “Business Strategy,” and “Reinforcement of the Corporate Base.”

In the “Vision Story,” we introduce what kind of corporate group we are by telling the story of the future we are aiming for, the sources of our competitive advantage, and the technological capabilities and progress that underpin these goals.

In the “Business Strategy” section, we present the progress of the New Medium-Term Management Plan 2025 and the status of each business, as well as financial information through messages from the president and the director in charge of finance.

In the “Reinforcement of the Corporate Base” section, we provide ESG information on strengthening our corporate base to support future growth, as well as messages from the director in charge of sustainability and the voices of employees who are promoting activities on the frontlines. In addition, we are increasing disclosures about the Board of Directors through the Roundtable Discussion between outside directors.

We will continue to place importance on communication with our shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders as we aim to contribute to a sustainable society and achieve sustainable growth for the Sanyo Chemical Group.

Annual Update of Sustainability Website (English version)

Sanyo Chemical has updated its sustainability website on an annual basis.

In order to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society, the Sanyo Chemical Group is promoting sustainable management from a long-term perspective and strengthening information disclosure to our stakeholders.

The Sustainability website expresses our management’s views on sustainability through the Message from the President and provides comprehensive non-financial information such as policies for each initiative, and activities and data in ESG categories.

The Sanyo Chemical Group has also issued the “Sanyo Chemical Group Integrated Report,” (English version) which summarizes short-, medium-, and long-term strategies and achievements from both financial and non-financial perspectives. Please take a look at it as well.

Sanyo Chemicals will exhibit permanent antistatic agents, acid modified polyolefin and polyolefin wax in the booth of Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. at NPE 2024 – The Plastics Show, the largest plastics exhibition in the USA, to be held in Orlando, USA, from 6 to 10 May 2024.

NPE is held every three years and showcases and introduces the latest technologies and materials in plastics and rubber.

April 23 to 26, Shanghai, P. R. China – Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. will be exhibiting at Asia’s biggest plastic and rubber trade fair: CHINAPLAS 2024. The number of visitors is expected to be more than 250,000, both domestic and international.

Sanyo Chemical is pleased to announce the complete renewal of the “Sustainability” page of its corporate website (in English) to enhance the disclosure information on sustainability.

In July 2022, Sanyo Chemical formulated its Basic Sustainability Policy in order to further strengthen its “sustainable management,” which aims to achieve sustainable growth while enhancing both economic and social value, based on its corporate motto, “Establish a better society through our corporate activities.” We are promoting sustainable management from a long-term perspective in order to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through our business activities guided by our corporate motto.

In this renewal, the design and page structure were substantially revised and the content enhanced in order to communicate the Sanyo Chemical Group’s approach to sustainability and its activities to shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders in an easier-to-understand manner.

Sanyo Chemical will continue to proactively disclose information on sustainability with the aim of enhancing corporate value.
